Summer & Winter -- Baby Wipe Transfer



hp deskjet 5150 print transfer onto Baltic birch plywood block using baby wipes (reconstituted with alcohol). Rubbed from the back, wetting the paper.

I've been hearing a lot about this method lately. I'm sure I will have plenty on hand to try it with soon enough!

I'm glad it worked. I've never tried to wet the copy on the back. I've always wet the surface to be transferred on to. Did you feel like it gave you enough to work from? It looks like it to me, but it's hard to know.

Yep, it's plenty good enough to work by. I'm working my way thru it right now. 8-]

I saw a great art show at the New Museum, NYC, where this artist created a machine that when you feed it, the machine would poop out the other end. I think it could have used some baby wipes.
